# ECOSTRESS

ECOSTRESS, a NASA mission mounted on the International Space Station (ISS), monitors plant temperature to understand water stress and plant response. By measuring plant heat, ECOSTRESS enhances our understanding of vegetation and ecosystems, aiding in agricultural monitoring, water resource management, and ecosystem health assessment. The specialized radiometer measures thermal infrared radiation, providing insights into water availability's impact on plant health, growth, and overall ecosystem functioning on a global scale.
