# Kodiak 3D Lidar

Andrew Tool played a role in the development of the amazing Kodiak 3D Lidar system. When it comes to high orbit satellite servicing and planetary science missions, there are numerous challenges to overcome. These missions require accurate measurements, high speed, and long range capabilities, all while enduring a harsh environment and long mission life. Unfortunately, conventional systems often come with exorbitant costs and questionable reliability.
